Becoming Part of the Bayard Area Foundation
Nellene Mailander reviewed the reasons why it would be advantageous for the alumni association to join with the Bayard Area Foundation and become a project committee of that organization.  Both the alumni association and the Bayard Area Foundation work to further the cooperation and community spirit of the Bayard area; the alumni association would profit financially and tax-wise by becoming part of the foundation and having its backing.  The foundation has already approved the arrangement by majority vote.  Dave Peterson moved that the alumni association become a project committee of the Bayard Area Foundation.  Bill Whitney seconded, and the motion passed.
