Friday is set aside so that you may enjoy your individual class activities. The Chimney Rock Museum will host a gathering at 5:00 pm, so that you may view the class pictures of Bayard High graduates and look at old yearbooks. Soft drinks, wine, and snacks will be served. The Chimney Rock Golf Course will be open all weekend for those who wish to get in 9 or 18 holes of golf. The phone number to set up a tee time is

On Saturday, September 4th, registration will be from 8:00 - 10:00 am (There is a parade downtown at 11:00 am) and again from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Bayard High School. The hospitality area will be open and refreshments available. Come and look at the new gym and visit with classmates.
The business meeting of the Alumni Association will be at 5:00 pm at the Elementary School before the dinner at 6:00 pm. Business discussed will be updating the constitution, the alumni scholarships and other issues. Follow this link to view the proposed changes.
The Banquet is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm at the Elementary School. The Class of 1960 will be honored for their 50th Anniversary. Special tables will be arranged for any classes celebrating a Ten-year Anniversary. Please include any specific information on the reservation form as to your class year and special activities.
On Sunday, September 5, brunch will be available from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at The Branding Iron on Main St. Reservations are not necessary and you will pay for brunch that morning.
If you are unable to attend this year's renion, please keep in touch with a letter, pictures or any item you may think would be of interest. All letters and emails received will be posted in the Depot Museum.
Our Scholarship Fund continues to grow, and we thank you for your past contributions. This year we will be awarding two $1500 scholarships to members of the class of 2010. Your support of this worthy effort is appreciated.
